2. Following is the suggested grouping for the 4th Global Youth Table Tennis Championships by ITTF Technical Committee.
a. The participating teams are divided into 4 groups for MEN's and 3 groups for WOMEN's with each group containing 4 teams. Group 1 is the first seeded teams, Group 2 is the second seeded teams and so on.
b. Each one of the 4 teams in a group is placed into Group A,B,C or D by lot.
c. Asian teams and European teams should be divided as equally as possible in the 1st stage.
d. Only 1st stage winners can go up to the 2nd stage. The draw of the 2nd stage for these 4 winners shall be done by lot.
